Colin Balment has landed a stunning 30lb 2oz mirror carp from swim 3 on the dam wall ( small island) on Beatties lake caught on Mainline Cell boilies.
Stafford Moor – Latest Catch
Scott Mann Mp for North Cornwall fished a 36 hour session at Stafford Moor that resulted in 4 fish including this cracking looking mirror that was a new personal best at 24lb 10oz. It was caught from Beatties Lake Summerhouse Swim on a Stickybaits 16mm Manilla snowman.

Hey well done to everyone who entered our first ever Pairs carp competition here at Stafford Moor. A huge apology from Paul & I for not being present we just needed a break before the crazy season kicks in especially Paul but the guys were left in more than capable hands with Peter Randle and Wayne Grinney and Wayne’s dad Paul who cooked the barbecue thank you so much for looking after everyone.
1st prize Winners were Mark Downing and Wayne Grinney who between them had 12 fish out and a total weight of 194lb 10oz well done guys ! Mark fished on swim 6 (the outlet ) up on lodge while Wayne fished swim 6 (rodi bush) on Beatties. Caught on Sticky Baits Manilla.
In second place 🥈 was Aaron Rundle and Michael Toms who between them had 7 fish out and had a total weight of 147lb 2oz well done ! Aaron fished on swim 8 (the inlet) on Beatties lake and Michael fished swim 3 (spit bay) up on Lodge lake.
In third place was Jason A Hammond and Jack Gabriel who between them had 6 fish and a total weight of 119lb 4oz well done! Jason fished swim 7(the beach right side) on Beatties and Jack fished on swim 10 (outback) up on lodge lake.
Our largest fish winner was also Jason Hammond who had a 26lb 8oz beauty well done Jase !

Stafford Moor – Spring Carp on Lodge lake
Adrian Yearley and Marcus fished on Lodge lake in the double swim 1 in a 24 hour session they had 3 fish out up to 22lb 6oz , Ade fished with CC Moore live system boilies & cream seed over the top with size 4 viper curve shank kd rigs, Marcus fished snowman with Sticky baits Krill bottom baits & CC Moore dairy supreme pop ups.
23lb 6oz Common – Stafford Moor
Nigel Higgins had 3 carp up to 23lb 6oz from the dam wall swim 3 on Beatties lake in 24 hours at the weekend all on Mainline cell boilies and essential cell pellets.

(Above) Adrian Stockton who banked 11 fish from Lodge lakes swim 2. The best pulled the scales to 19lb 3oz. All caught on sticky baits Manilla and Krill boilies. Great fishing considering the constantly changing temperatures.
(Above) Adam Atkins and his dad John had 3 fish out up to 20lb 5oz from the summer hut swim on Beatties lake over the weekend all caught on Sticky baits Manilla and Sticky baits buchuberry pop ups.
Stafford Moor – Double Takes a plenty
Liam Shipway with Charli had eight carp between them from the inlet swim on Beatties lake in 24 hours. They were using Mainline Cell boilies and Mainline glug. They had 2 lots of double takes.
Four Fine carp on Day Ticket at the Moor
John Jobson enjoyed a Day ticket session at Stafford Moor Fishery banking four fine carp the best a beauty of 23lb 4oz. Beucuberry and sticky mamilla pop ups , peg 14.
