Darren Rundle from Lanivet, Bodmin fished a one day session on Stafford Moors Lodge Lake to bank three fabulous carp fish using 20mm Sticky Baits Manilla Boilies.

Bill Laken has caught ‘the secret’ from Argal reservoir in Cornwall at a top weight of 37lb. It’s the first time this fish has reached 37lbs and fingers crossed it will go even higher over the winter and head towards the 40lb mark for the spring. It’s a great reward for Bill who puts a lot of time and effort into Argal both as a bailiff and angler and we are delighted for him on this success.

EASY ACCESS COMMON OFF THE TOP
5C’s Member Maggot Mick Whitfield recently had a few hours on the Easy Access Lake and managed to catch this lovely 12lb Common off the top on dog biscuits.
It just goes to show that if you get the conditions right then you can fish off the surface any time of year!
Lower Tamar – Fully Scaled
Justin Williams has caught ‘The fully’ from Lower Tamar lake at 24lbs. The much sought after fish is looking really good and up in weight.
26lb 2oz Stafford Carp
Harry Collins (Haribo) had 8 fish up to 26lb 2oz from the summer hut swim on Beattie’s lake using Sticky Baits Manilla Boilie.

A return visit to Stafford Moor Fishery after my recent trip a couple of weeks back was on the cards and this time we were booked onto Beaties.
The day started off very slow although a few carp were showing but with the temperature set to drop hard that night, I knew the bites could be tricky.
I set up with a good friend on the Summer House swim and deployed a few spombs of Deep Blue Particles Chilli Hemp Mix out onto my chosen spots. Not to much bait because of the time of year but enough to hopefully entice the carp to feed!
The weather forecast was spot on and a hard frost set in. The night was very quiet and the following day carried on along the same lines, with bites not coming!
The session was at an end and the pack down began before the trip back to Cornwall. As always leaving the rods laid on the ground, hoping for that last knocking bite and fortunately for me, this time it came!
This quality blank saver couldn’t resist a DBP NT1 Boilie on an Blowback Style Rig with a J Precision Hook at the business end! This made my trip home a little bit sweeter..
Autumn Carp at Stafford Moor
Steve Pinn landed carp to 22lb 14oz on his latest session at Stafford Moor he also captured some atmospheric images of life on the bank.
Autumn Carp Sport at Jennetts
Rob Kendal enjoyed an action packed short autumn session at Jennetts Reservoir banking four carp including two twenties. The fish were all tempted on Rob’s home boilies with the best three pulling the scales to 25lb 5oz, 23lb 2oz and 19lb 2oz.
DAY TICKET LAKE XANADU PRODUCES ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL COMMON
Alan George 39, from Treharris, South Wales fished Anglers Paradise for the Netting Shenanigans and even managed a couple of days fishing resulting in this stunner of a 21lb 14oz Common from Nirvana’s Day Ticket Xanadu Lake.
Alan caught the Common using Mad Baits Nuts snowman on a Fluro D Rig, fished over boilie crumb and whole boilies.
