Stunning Carp in Spring Sunshine
Once again some stunning carp caught from Stafford Moor over the past week many looking extra good in that Spring Sunshine!
M J Luscombe who had banked four carp up to 24lb 4oz from the Dam wall on lodge lake all caught on Mainline cell with white fake corn in a 24 hour session.

(Below) Neil Harvey fished up on swim 4 on the Dam wall on lodge lake this weekend. Neil had 5 fish out up to 23lb all caught on Mad Baits nutz aqua scrim & black gold liquid with lashings of corn.

Six carp to 27lb 12oz – Stafford Moor
Mark Lamude caught six carp including a new personal best of 27lb 12oz from Albert square on Lodge lake in a 24 hour session this weekend. Mark was fishing with Mainline cell boilies & home made hook Baits.
Stafford Moor Latest Catches
The warm weather certainly seems to have woken up the carp at the Moor with some stunning catches of fish up to thirty pounds. Anglers in T-Shirts in February! This time last year it was bitter cold with ice and snow!

Stunning Melbury Mirror
Aaron Jones banked this stunning mirror carp of 20lb 1oz from Melbury reservoir the fish was tempted using the ever popular Mainline cell boilies.
New 40+ Part of an amazing brace for Chris Connaughton at Furzebray
Chris Connaughton landed the carp known as Star at an all time high of 40lb 4oz setting a new 40+ for the island lake then followed it up with Black’s Spot at 44lb 4oz in the early hours of the morning.
As if this wasn’t enough Chris also banked this stunning linear! (below)

It was a tough week for James Middlemass as the lake was frozen for the first two days of his stay, but his perseverance paid off on his last day banking two cracking fish… 3 scales at 35lb 14oz and the Christmas fish at 29lb.
Latest Carp catches at Stafford Moor
Jamie Everard fished up on Stafford Moors Lodge lake and banked ten carp all caught on Bait-works Atlantic heat & small scent from heaven pop ups on top as a snowman fishing tight to the spit.
