John Jobson enjoyed a fantastic day winter carp fishing at Stafford Moor landing a trio of carp weighing 23lb 7oz, 20lb 5oz and 20lb 10oz. The fish were all tempted using Krill Boilies over pellet.
Neil Harvey and Mark Lamude banked 7 fish between them from the double swim 1 up on lodge lake at the weekend. All caught on Mainline cell tipped with corn glugged in cell juice.

Stafford Moor is renowned for its Specimen Carp and bumper Match fishing nets but is also holds a good head of other specimen fish including perch and huge eels. Neilsen Jeffery is a well known Match angler but enjoyed a great pleasure session on Beatties Lake landing several bream and this stunning perch of 3lb.
The third match of the Winter Teams league at Stafford Moor was a cold one yet Mark Cullerton still managed a stunning bag of carp totalling 141lb 11oz.
Team Baittech won the event with 6 points and a total weight of 326lb 2oz.

With a bite cold East wind blowing over recent days I would expect carp sport to slow down and it may well have done so but at Stafford Moor there are still some stunning fish being caught by those prepared to brave the elements.

(Below)Ryan Turner fished with Friend Anthony Gill. They fished on the beach swim on Beatties lake the top weight was 25lb on the nose all caught on Sticky Baits 16mm Manilla boilies with a handful of 12mm Manilla bottom baits glazed in hemp oil.

31 anglers fished. Cold bright frosty conditions did not deter the venues carp from feeding in, what turned out to be a closely fought contest.The match was one of the best attended that we have organised . Kevin Shears won the event from unfancied peg 19 on Oak lake with an 18 fish net taken on the bomb and bread.Venue regular Dave landed 9 larger fish on the method feeder and maggot from peg 14 on Woodies for 2nd. Paul Morris took 3rd spot from peg 16 on Oak with feeder and pole tactics . Martin Turner also on Oak, peg 11 ,managed to secure 4th place with a 16 fish pole and maggot caught net.

Nigel had 3 fish out up to 21lb 6oz from swim 3 on the dam wall up on Lodge lake this weekend all caught on Sticky Baits Manilla boilies, caught 2 from the far bank tight to the margins and one out in the open water.

Paul Blake fished lodge at Stafford Moor with David Mason they had seven carp between them. Dave broke his personal best three times including fish of 20lb 5oz and 22lb 12oz and I Paul set his personal best with last fish of the day weighing 20lb 12oz.
