Winner of Stafford Moors March Silvers Festival 2018 is Mark Goddard who won with just 5 points and a total weight of 98lb 8oz ! Mark also won the Largest bag of 37lb 9oz from peg 10 on Pines. In second place was Des Shipp who had also 5 points with a total weight of 85lb 6oz. In third place was Dave Smith with 9 points and a total weight of 82lb 15oz. (Above) Chris Dyer had this stunning 23lb common from the summer hut swim on Beatties fishing with Sticky Baits signature squid and Sticky Baits Krill boilies.

It was great to receive news today from Stafford Moor after a week without reports as the carps appetite has undoubtedly been dampened by the dramatic drop in temperatures
Andrew Levett and his young son Thomas fished big fish corner on Beatties. Andy had a 21lb common and a 20lb 1oz mirror caught on Nash Tangerine Dream pop up and young Thomas had two roach that brought a beaming smile.

Its icy out there but the carp keep feeding at Stafford Moor
Carp anglers are a hardy bunch these days fishing right through the year. I would appreciated some carp in the snow pictures at the end of the week if the weathermen are correct.
(Above) Harry Collins ‘aka Haribo’ who had nine carp up to 21lb 5oz from swim 2 (the triangle) on Beatties lake fishing with Sticky baits Manilla boilies.
Adam Atkins and his dad John had a double take plus one more this weekend fishing with sticky baits Krill boilies and Sticky baits Buchenberry pop ups up to 21lb from swims 2 and 3 on the dam wall up on lodge lake.

(Above) Leon Vledder who fished up on swim 3 on lodge lake this weekend he had 7 fish out fishing with Nash candy nut crush and Sticky Baits Manilla boilies.
Chris Dyer (Above) and Oliver Kind landed 8 fish between them up to 22lb from the Summer House swim in 48 hours on Beatties lake fishing with Sticky Baits signature squid and Sticky’s Manilla and krill boilies.
(Above) Lewis Jones and brother Wesley who fished up on the double swim 1 on Lodge lake they had 6 fish out up to 24lb 8oz in a 24 hour session fishing with Sticky Baits signature squid pop ups.
Stafford Moor Lodge Lake Carp
Sean Chater (Above) landed a brace of carp from swim 2 on lodge lake during a 24 hour session the best pulling the scales to 20lb 7oz. The fish were tempted fishing with Robins test bait tnt .
Darren Rundle (Above) fished a day ticket session and was rewarded with a brace of carp including this fine looking specimen from Lodge Lake tempted with Sticky Baits 16mm Manilla Boilies.

Aaron Rundle (Below) who fished swim 4 on Lodge Lake this weekend and banked 6 carp on pink pop ups.
Jacob Bracken (Above) fished Beatties lake for the first time and used Sticky Baits Manilla and cell boilies to tempt three carp up to 23lb from end of the dam wall.
Here is John Atkins(Above) and son Adam Atkins who fished on Lodge Lake for 48 hours had 13 fish between them John had the biggest out which scaled 24lb 2oz. They used Sticky Baits Manilla 16mm boilies and also sticky baits Buchenberry pop ups on a Ronnie rig.

Lance Appleton fished on Stafford Moors Albert Square Swim on Lodge Lake to land this 25lb beauty fishing with Mainline pineapple pop ups.
Nathan Oliver (Above) with a 22lb 7oz common from the inlet swim on Beatties lake using a stiff hinge rig and 12mm urban baits nutcracker boilies soaked in Almond Goo and a Mainline Milky toffee pop up.
