Bideford Angling Clubs Nathan Clements set a new club record with this stunning 3lb 2oz sole.
The clubs latest 24 hour rover was dominated by grey mullet. Graham Snow was the winner with a thin lipped mullet of 4lb 10.5oz. Stephen Found was runner up with a thick lipped mullet of 4lb 4oz. Third Graham Snow with a thin lip of 4lb 3oz.
Well done to Bideford for their efforts in promoting angling to a young generation.

Using pegs 4 to 11 the junior event produced some great catches, in this , the third match of the series. Top weight on the day was youngster Charlie with a lovely double figure net of skimmers and tench ( and terch! ) on peg 7 in the 3 hour competition . Prizes were kindly donated by BaitTech and Summerlands.

20 fished on another fine summer evening on Georges lake , Mike on, peg 10, has landed a terrific bag of bream in the 3hour contest to secure his second win in the series. His short pole worm approach seems to find the quality silver fish. Elsewhere carp have put in an appearance, Craig’s 2nd place net off peg 15 consisted 4 decent carp on meat, just pipping Graham’s method feeder carp catch on peg 6. Over half the field have weighed in double figure catches. With 3 matches remaining Nathan clings on to the lead 74 points to Steve Johnson 73 , and Martin Turner on 70.
